I have the pleasure of serving as the director for connections here at Summit Crossing Community Church. We’re a non-denominational church here in Madison County, specifically here in Huntsville, Alabama, one of the fastest-growing cities in the state. And our church is, is unique in the sense of it’s a really large church. We average about fifteen hundred people on a Sunday, but there’s a place for people to feel known and to feel loved, and for them to feel like this is their family. Our vision statement is, “We exist to see the kingdom of Christ advance from our neighborhoods to the nations for the glory of God.” And so everything that we do comes down to that.
So we partner with lots of different organizations in our city who see areas of darkness in Madison County, whether it be kids in the foster care system, whether it be the homeless or people who, who are going hungry. And we partner with organizations to see their physical needs met for the purpose of loving people, because that’s what Jesus did. So our, our internet connectivity i-is really important, I mean, really to anybody. It’s twenty twenty-five, you have to have connection, right? Um, and for us as a church, yeah, we have to do the things day to day in the office here as the staff members and volunteers that, that lots of people have to do in their jobs. But one thing that’s really unique for us is our church has a live stream where we broadcast our Sunday services all over the world. And the way that we are utilizing internet connectivity is by allowing them to live stream and still participate on Sundays, just like they were living here in Madison County, but they’re living in any country all over the world.
For the first several years that I was here, our internet was spotty at best. I would be in the middle of an important call, and it would drop. And I would be doing a really crucial task where I was in the zone, and then all of a sudden I wasn’t connected anymore. And so that’s super frustrating for anyone. Like, everybody knows what that experience is like. But once we found Unity, I don’t think we’ve had a single outage since we switched to you guys. And so that has made our jobs much easier to be able to depend on something that honestly you shouldn’t even have to think about. Internet coverage isn’t something that should, like, be in your conscious mind all the time. It should just be something that’s there, that works. It’s kind of like your car. You get in it, you turn the key, and it starts. That’s what it’s supposed to do, but when it doesn’t happen, your whole day’s ruined, and connectivity is in a similar way.
So we’re so thankful that we found Unity so that we don’t have to think about internet all the time, ’cause it’s just there, it’s gonna work and it does every single day. So now because we found Unity as our provider, we can actually focus on the things that matter. We don’t have to think about, “Am I gonna be able to connect today?” So if you’re like I was, and you were constantly frustrated, or it just, it’s just not working out, like, give Unity a chance. If your experience has been anything like mine, it’s gonna make your job so much easier. It’s gonna be an opportunity for you to not have to think about internet. It’s just gonna be there when you need it. Give them a call, check them out. Unity’s not gonna let you down. You’re not gonna be disappointed.
