We’re at Hogs for Cause, a barbecue competition and music festival raising money for pediatric brain cancer. We’re super excited to be a part of this. They’ve been around since 2009. They’ve raised over$12.5 million that’s able to house patients, provide resources for hospitals and clinics around all of the nation.
Over the years I’ve seen this festival grow from just kind of an organic, tiny little organization with just a few people cooking to obviously hundreds of people here. I believe there’s like 95 teams now and about30,000 or so plus attend this festival every year. So it was a good opportunity for us to give back and we’re also their internet connectivity partner as well. And we’re really enjoying our time out here.
We initially got involved because Renee and Becker, the founders of the festival, reached out to us. Their biggest pain point of the festival was their internet connection. They could not process credit cards, they could not get people in the doors to spend the money to donate to the great cause. We were able to overcome that, bring in a dedicated solid one gig internet connection. The festival has gone off without a hitch. They are super excited. We are super excited and we can’t wait to continue our relationship with them.
