Hey guys, Hunter Payne here in Theodore, Alabama. Got another shelter behind us. Since our last video in Biloxi, Mississippi, we’ve done three of these. We’ve done Georgiana, we’ve done Greenville, we’ve done Loxley, and we’re going to keep on going after this.
This is key here, because the way we’ve used the parcel, we haven’t put this smack dab in the middle, but we placed it off to the edge, so in a disaster type hurricane recovery situation, we have space. We have a lay down yard, somewhere where we can get you better restoration quicker than the competition.
So again, what are these shelters? We’re putting these in to help for co-location in our network. They’re hardened, they can withstand a .30-06 round, and this one’s slightly different from Biloxi, because it’s not on the chain wall. As you can see, it’s on a slab. So why, we’re further away from the storm surge. We’re not in a flood area, and so we have a budget to maintain. We got to keep this budget friendly, so you’re not paying as much as a customer.
Customer obsession is future proofing and future proofing is making the decisions now that will positively impact our network and the customers for years and years to come.
