Ana Stewart:
I am from the south of Spain. It’s a small town called Roda, and today we’re here to celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Month. It celebrates all the contributions that Hispanics and Latinos have made to the United States.
Maryce Green:
Hi, I am Maryce Green. I’m from Venezuela. It’s not just about getting together just to share some words, but it’s more like get to know each other. Where are you from and what is your culture? What is the different things we can do together?
We have today an special dish, which is pabellón. Pabellón is a dish from Venezuela. It’s a typical plate. I got my mom, and my niece, and we all ended up cooking for everybody, which we are proud to do it because we just love to see a little smile running around and eating our typical dish, which is appreciated, too.
Maria Fernandez Epieyu:
My greetings to all, on this special day of Hispanics. My name is Sol María Fernández Epieyu, I am of the Wayuu indigenous ethnic race from Venezuela.
We have been sharing our language and culture in every corner of the world. I declare and recognize that God has given us this moment, this day that unites us in our language, our cultures, our races, our diversities, and different things but that has not separated us, on the contrary, it has united us.
Maryce Green:
It has united us because each of us carries an endless number of colors, without distance, without different forms of people, we are all human, we drive and carry our flags from different countries,
Our hearts are united, so today I want to wish you a happy Hispanic Day!
Ana Stewart:
Whoever knows it will know that Spain is a wonderful place, with a lot of culture with a lot of history, and that is why I am very proud to be Spanish!
Maria Fernandez Epieyu:
Very happy, and grateful to share with all of you, I wish you a happy Hispanic Day!
Ana Stewart:

Maryce Green:
We wish everyone a happy Hispanic Heritage Month and thank you for celebrating it here with us, all united as always!
