Professional Computing Solutions has been serving customers in Chilton County for a little over 20 years. We have customers, everything from doctor’s offices to accounting firms to law offices, churches. You name it. We probably serve a customer in that field. We manage servers, network, closets, firewalls, routers, wifi, voice-over IP, phone systems, printers, security systems. Anything IT-related, we get involved with with our customers. Our goal at the end of every day is for our customers to be able to get their work done and not be struggling or wondering how they’re going to get something done IT-related.
Before Uniti Fiber became an option for internet connectivity for our customers, our customers were constantly struggling, especially in the Thorsby/Jemison area, with internet outages. Those could be from a few hours at a time to even days and weeks at a time in some cases. Since we’ve been able to make the switch and team up with Uniti Fiber, we have not struggled with any type of outages. That matters in today’s world, especially for customers like Jemison Dental Care, who are the only dental care office in the town of Jemison.
If they didn’t have internet for two to three days, they couldn’t properly pull up records for their patients. It either made them unable to see patients or caused them extra work on the back end to have to go in once the internet came back online to enter in all that information into their medical records. It’s been reliable for us/for our customers.
The customer service that we receive from Unity Fiber during the install process with contact from people inside of Uniti has made this transition for so many customers easy because with Uniti Fiber, anytime we’ve ever had any questions, we get them answered. If not within a few minutes after one phone call, it’s later that day through an email. The communication and customer service that we, as professional computing, see from Uniti Fiber is great. I know that all of our customers have had nothing but nice things to say about dealing with Uniti Fiber as well.
Our customer’s quality of life and quality of service to their customers, I think, has improved greatly since Uniti Fiber got involved with their businesses, especially in small towns like Jemison, where they often are one of the few places that provides a good or a need. It’s been really nice to see the positive impact that having a company like Uniti Fiber has made in the Thorsby and Jemison area here in Chilton County.
