We work for contractors from small to large. We do metal studs, sheet rock, batt insulation, acoustical ceilings, EIF and stucco for the exterior of the buildings. We also install any specialty acoustical products for sound like in gymnasiums, that kind of thing.
Connectivity for E&E is everything from estimating to ordering materials, emails. Without it, it literally shuts us down. Before Uniti, there was many, many times that we would be shut down. We’d come here in the mornings, and Tammy is our office manager, she would be on the phone for hours trying to get in touch with customer service. We would just be sitting around here not being able to do anything. I would say probably on average, once every couple weeks, we would be shut down at a time or two. It was just pretty consistent. It seemed like every time it rained, we would be shut down.
Now that we’ve come on board with Uniti, knock on wood, we’ve not been shut down a time. The speed is here. Tammy’s not wasting time. Our office manager’s not wasting time on the phone. She’s being able to be productive, and everybody in the office is able to be productive. We have no excuse to not get things done due to our internet services. You can get in touch with people when you need to be able to get in touch with people. You’re not sitting there on hold for hours. When we call, y’all answer.
Since we’ve had Uniti, there’s just been no thought of not having connectivity, where before, there was times where we literally had to wonder when a storm came through, were we going to be able to have connectivity and do our jobs? If somebody was having any trouble with connectivity at all and was thinking about the option of moving over to Uniti Fiber, I would 100% push them that direction, 100%, no questions asked. I don’t know why you wouldn’t do it.
