Now that Idalia has trekked through the Southeast and weakened to a tropical storm, our local communities in its path are experiencing the aftereffects, including commercial power outages, substantial flooding and considerable structural damage. In spite of these challenges, Uniti’s network remains resilient and we’ve seen minimal impacts to service in our storm-affected markets.
The Uniti team continues to actively assess and monitor our network and our technicians are in the field, coordinating with local government and first-responder organizations to restore known outages as quickly as possible.
The safety of our customers, partners, communities, and Uniti team members remains our top priority. While our technicians are already in restoration mode, please remember in unsafe or potentially dangerous situations, we are dependent on local authorities to provide the “all-clear” before gaining access to impacted areas.
