We’re here today at the Montgomery Chamber to celebrate a ribbon cutting for Uniti as we continue to grow and expand our network routes here in the Montgomery area. We’re very excited to be a growing part of this community as businesses and entities of all sorts continue to have increased demand for additional internet bandwidth and services that we can come in and provide for them. While we’ve been serving this area for quite some time, it was great to get to come out today, meet the community, meet some community leaders, and again, be a part of what’s happening here in Montgomery.
Jody Melancon:
So what really sets Uniti apart from the other providers in the area is that we have a hundred percent fiber optic backbone. We protect our network underground and we’re not sharing any bandwidth; we’re not oversubscribing our network. We’re offering fiber optics, symmetrical, dedicated services, internet, phone service, and we offer managed services to the businesses. So not only can we help them with a reliable internet connection, dark fiber solution if they have their own IT group, but we could also manage their firewalls and set them up with some redundancy and an SD-WAN solution as well. All of this we’re bringing to the Montgomery area, and part of our expansion we’ll be able to hit new customers throughout this whole area.
Sheron Rose:
We are delighted to have Uniti Fiber join and partner with us, so continue the partnership that has been in existence for a number of years. We look forward to the expansion and the role that Uniti Fiber will play in this community and surrounding communities. The impact particularly that it will have on our military footprint, growing our community, growing small business as well as large businesses, and through our educational system.
We realize that communications infrastructure with fiber optic is important, particularly as it equates to quality of life, education, growing and expanding business, and as well as the health facilities. So we are extremely thrilled that Uniti Fiber has joined the Chamber and continued that longstanding partnership, and look forward to many more years of working and being partners with Uniti Fiber.

So we had a really great ribbon cutting today. Great food, a lot of businesses represented. Our president, Andy Newton, was here to give a great presentation, and we’re really excited for what the future holds for us here in Montgomery.
