So I’ve been in the information technology space for about 30 years, and I’ve seen networks from old small school, DSL-type networks, all the way up to very complex digital networks and wide area networks. I met Chris Everson at the Jacksonville IT Council, and we started a dialogue about how they could bring services to an organization that I was working for. That organization was building out many new locations and connectivity was difficult. We were able to engage with Uniti Fiber, and they were able to deliver the network that we really needed to deliver the services necessary for our business.
Uniti delivered on time, if not way ahead of time, every single time, so they became the carrier that we were reliant on to be lit when we needed them to. A lot of the other carriers were delayed, had all kinds of other issues that were a big distraction for us. So it was nice to have a business partner who we knew we could count on for our crucial data delivery.
We had a lot of experiences over the deployment with Uniti Fiber that were just way beyond what we thought, what you would expect a business partner like Uniti Fiber to do. We had outages that we caused, that we needed help fixing, and they were very quick, sometimes multiple engineers contacting us to try to get us resolved. We had a crisis that came on board and we were able to spin up more bandwidth, even bring in some hardware to help us out. We found that getting in touch with Chris and the engineering team and the support team was easy and we felt that they really cared about what we were trying to do in our business.
The network performance was fantastic. We saw very low latency, high performance, no outages. We had no issues whatsoever. It was a joy to know that we had that quality of a business partner working for us. I would say if Uniti Fiber is in your market, I highly recommend you having a conversation with them, you won’t be disappointed. I hope to work with them throughout the remainder of my career.
